I know I still have loads of time as I’m only 25 weeks but after a scan yesterday I found out my baby is lying kinda diagonally with her feet down. My last 2 babies were head down from like 22 weeks so in just in a little panic.
Is this what’s called a transverse lie or is that something else? What happens if she doesn’t turn? Will it mean a section? The doc just fobbed me off yesterday when I questioned but I just like to be mentally prepared for all eventualities!

hi, my first baby was transverse around the same time as you and he went head down around 32 weeks. I did go on my ball a lot and I also had acupuncture which definitely helped.

I really wouldn’t worry at that stage. At my 32 week scan yesterday my consultant said baby was head down but still plenty time for them to change the mind. Its only from 32/34 weeks that they really monitor position, baby still has loads of room to turn

They have so much room in there still, I really wouldn't worry. Mine was breech at my 20 week scan and was head down at my 24 week appt. I felt hiccups for the first time the other day and sure enough the were down below where her upper body should be. Wouldn't get worried anyway till 36 weeks + x

I had an appointment at 29 weeks and my baby was also transferred and it had been head down since 20 weeks ♀️ I’m hoping it will move soon

Baby is so tiny it could literally be head down in an hour and feet down in two hours! They’re still summer-salting at this stage. Really wouldn’t even consider it!
