@ukscone @EarthLink Used them years ago for dial-up. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered service where I live. I could be wrong but I think AT&T (Illinois Bell) have to let them ride the local loop because it used to have a monopoly.

@EarthLink I did contact your tech support via chat. The guy I spoke to was very helpful. I'd made a mistake with one parameter and now can fix it, hopefully. I just need to make the authentication security password encrypted.

I like that @EarthLink offer Internet service here but it's a shame they have to use AT&T for the last mile. Haven't been able to get a promised speed upgrade. Only other wired option is Comcast Xfinity and they've used up all their chances.

Try and cancel a goddamn @EarthLink account if you have a lot of time to waste...I thought the @FTC was on these types of shenannigans, making it hard to cancel accounts. Didn't @AOL get fined for this?

@EarthLink service has been awful today. When I hit the "reply" function, it takes an impossibly long time for the page to reload so that I can start typing my response. It's wrecking my productivity. This had happened on phone, and two different web browsers.

@EarthLink @cityofnortonva My mom has been utterly screwed over by your company. Customer service is unhelpful, she's paid over $100 and still has no internet. Keeps told "the back office" will take care of it. It has been 3 days of this and she's called every day and it's still not rectified!

@EarthLink @Xfinity yea no, i take it back. 2 weeks into service i find i was lied to 5 times about no setup cost , was told i had a plan with at least 10mbps, but now that ive paid, im told i'll only be getting 5 for 50/mth. Even worse than Comcast. why are ISPs such sharks? Explanation?
